 Reagan 9 week female
Well we made the jump yesterday! We lost Buddy, our 15 yo Beagle, in May. Swore we would not get another dog and yet here we are. My wife and I are now empty nesters, bought an RV, and travel a bit on weekends and a few "big" trips a year. Lots of rails to trails bike riding.....
We have seen Yorkies on our travels and have developed a soft spot. Found Reagan last week and brought her home yesterday. Vet visit set for tomorrow/Sat.
Need some advice if anyone can help; one website says to start socialization immediately. A thread on this forum says to wait until all shots are given...18 weeks. I'm confused. Can I start taking her on walks now...albeit not terribly far?
We want to take her everywhere with us. When do we start introducing her to the car/truck slowly? Now..a little at a time? Ill chk the travel forum.....
