What the freak is wrong with people!!!!!

I've worked in the service industry catered to some weird stuff and dealt with super annoying safety security protocols etc...pets security isn't that hard and yet people fail at it!
This could be what happened to little Bengi, if he wasn't deliberately taken!

That is so scary that these people come into our homes and have no clue how to act around pets in this day and time. What happened with yours is what happened to my sister's Silky, Mindy, back in 2003. TV repairmen, despite my sister telling him not to do it(!), left the sliding glass door and the backyard gate open as he was going out with her big TV while my sister was answering the phone. By the time she got the phone hung up & out front, Mindy was across the street. She called her and Mindy started to her, along came a policewoman in a patrol car and hit her right in front of my sister! The officer stopped, gathered her up on a board and took her straight to the vet while my sister rushed back in the house to call a ride. Sis had lost vision enough she couldn't drive so a neighbor took her. Mindy lived 3 days in ICU before passing. My sister mourns Mindy to this day.

All because that TV man had no idea how to keep a customer's dog safe and didn't listen when he was told what not to do! Every business that deals with people in their homes - not to mention one that caters to pets in their facilities - should give pet safe lessons to their employees as a matter of good business practices and to be better neighbors to their customers!

I'm sure glad Elvis and Scoobers are safe.
