I think the 1st application has to be the whole dose for it to be effective. I only put it along the back of their neck & shoulder blades, where they can't reach, but it still gets on their hair. Since the whole dose is a lot, you can put half & put the other half the next day.
I do only use half the recommended amount on my 5 #'ers as maintenance. |
