During an exam when Zoey was in her first year the vet asked me if she barked a lot because he tonsills were inflamed. I was stunned - I didn't know dogs have tonsills. She wasn't given any meds but when she started to bark I would tell her, "Stop barking, you're going to hurt your tonsills." lolol
