 Slight aggression?
Hello! My 9 month old baby Stella has never ever been aggressive. She loves people... Cats... dogs.. you name it. But a problem seems to be surfacing a little. I don't have any cats but my mother has 4 in the house and 2 outside and we are at her house a good 2 times a week. Stella loves to romp and play with the kitties and there is never a problem. In fact, based on how she climbs all over furniture and things i think she believes she is a cat. She has been around them since she was 8 weeks old. But in the past week or two when the screen door is open to the outside and there is a kitty standing outside and we are about to take stella out she charges the door at the cat and barks like a mad dog for a few seconds.... But as soon as we are outside she loves the cat and would never hurt it. And when we get back inside never an aggressive moment with any of the indoor kitties. Is there some way i can get her to stop dong this? I am unsure why it has started. Maybe this is a stupid theory but the indoor cats sometimes will hiss and slap at the outdoor cats when they are on the other side of the door. Could that have anything to do with it? lol |
