I thought it was strange. lol. I read that if a dog does get tonsillitis that it is usually a small dog. She is over it now
The only noticeable symptoms she had was that she made a coughing sound (Almost like choking) and she didn't have as much appetite or energy. I think mainly with the decreased appetite thing it had to do with the fact that her throat was really sore.
I am getting another yorkie puppy in about 3 weeks so hopefully we can avoid having it happen again. Though i don't know how likely it is to happen twice. ll.
