From what I understand the entire litter must be registered, and this can only happen if mom and dad are both registered. Over here it isn't expensive...once the litter is registered, the owner of each individual pup, then registers the pup.
I'm so sorry this happened to you...there are many unscrupulous 'breeders' out there looking to prey on unsuspecting buyers. You definatley were lied too...she is a cutie no matter what though.
