My baby is 6 months old now. The vet doesn`t want to spay her for at least another month to give her teeth a chance to fall out on their own. She didn`t want her to have a sore mouth and sore tummy at the same time. She said she might have a heat in that time. How will I know. Yesterday she was trying to hump her favorite toy. How often do they go into heat? I would like to wait until after Christmas to have her surgery. TIA.
