She's been through so much with her ongoing issues. Being a rescue and used for breeding is the reason I am paying for someone else's neglect.  I am hoping its just an adverse reaction to the anti biotic. I looked up the anti biotic and there were no side effects I should be concern about, just the usual stuff like vomiting and diarheaa but nothing like seizures. |
How long has she been on the medication? Did her symptoms start at anytime near when she was started on it? After my son's experience, almost losing that dog because of a medication, I am very suspicious about medications. My son took his dog to the Cornell Veterinary College to have him checked out and they did not even consider that the medication could be the cause. I hope you can find what brought this on so quickly. They would also give Bear things to put him out for a while but when he would wake up he would have the same symptoms. If you were to stop the antibiotic for a day or two see an improvement then you would have your answer.
