"So-called" breeders make me want to smack them into oblivian!! When we were waiting for Toto ... [who I practically had to pry from our breeders fingers at 16 weeks!!
] ... I was getting a haircut at a salon in Missouri. The lady cutting my hair & I were talking, of course, about her pet whose pic was on her station. Her friend ["So-called" breeder] was sitting there too and I said we were so excited about our Yorkie baby we were getting! When she heard how old she would be when we got her she was shocked!! She said they tried to "get rid" of theirs at 6-8 weeks while "they were still cute"!! Otherwise you might get "stuck" with one of the little suckers!!
I, in order not to leave there with my hair in a mohawk, quickly changed the subject & never went back!! If it had happened today I would have very tactfully told her what I thought about that practice!!
