Each dog is different, but by and large, neutering will eliminate marking, if done soon enough. Your Chewie may make more testosterone than your other dog, and if you don't neuter you will probably have to deal with the marking. Wearing a bellyband is about the only thing that helps with marking. It's a wired in behavior and extreemly difficult to modify. Think of it like a sneeze, you can tell yourself you will never sneeze, but it just comes and you have little choice.
