All new puppies should get a good check up from your own vet. That will ease your worry too. Some really young pups sleep a lot. I think a 12 week pup should be pretty active in bursts, then nap. Julia my puppy is 15 weeks old, is very playful, chews everything and is curious. She eats about an 1/8 to a 1/4 cup of puppy kibble per day. I also cook for my Yorkies, so Julia gets a tiny portion of veggies, brown rice and boiled chicken breast.
