I used Cheerios also, especially when training, since you are giving them alot,, But eventually skip treats, so that they don't know when to expect them,,and I did the " High pitched.. Oh that's a good boy,, ew and ah "
Also,, I don't know what it is about throw rugs.. but they always pick those to GO on.. I don't think it matters what kind....
