Sorry I had to look up her age... 15-16 weeks? My gosh, she could still be having irritation/fluid leakage/infection from the intubation from her surgery done at 14 weeks! Also if she does not improve on those ABs in 2-3 days, take her back in and have a Culture and Sensitivity done on her throat, and get her on the right ABs. This is too close to the lungs... she could end up with pneumonia if it goes on too long. Also, hacking, as in trying to cough up something, is on the exhale... not likely CT (IMHO)....

PS: Any dog with a cough for whatever reason will cough more when excited....
