That's correct I was referring to human shelters. They were finding that people were not willing to leave their pets behind. People would rather stay with their pets then leave them behind. Even I got a list of pet friendly hotels in case ihad to evacuate. So the governor announced that pets would be allowed in the shelters to save the lives of humans and animals.
