I groom Troy myself. It's been nearly 2 years since his last professional groom. I use an Oster Kit I bought from Walmart for like $35. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. I've used the last professional groom as a guide and try not to let Troy get too scruffy.
I'm attempting to let him grow out because I like his legs a little fluffy and as much as I've protested the idea, thinking about growing him a topknot.
I prefer grooming myself, because the last few groomers I had didn't like him because he was small and squirmy.
