It's the restaurant where all the Cotton Bowl football players eat when in town for the Cotton Bowl at New Years plus lots of other football players all year round. We always have their lunch of excellent prime rib, Yorkshire pudding/gravy, peas, Lawry's lovely, succulent rolls and the special trifle(better have a designated driver!) and head off for shopping at North Park and the Galleria! It is a yearly homage we've made to Christmas, fine eating and Christmas shopping since 1988. If you are ever in Dallas, find your way to Lawry's in North Dallas for a fine meal. Makes me want to just head over there for lunch today! Mmmmmmm.
I had a continental breakfast again. |
Jeanie - if ever I'm over in Dallas, I shall pick you up en route and we'll
both have a meal fit for royalty - on me! I bet we'd have
the best fun....
Oh, and I loved your one-liner...."I had a continental breakfast again"! It actually made me feel quite guilty....
By the way, what's a Lawry's lovely please?
Oh, and I've just had half a dozen Thorntons chocolates with my coffee (which of course had sugar and cream in!
