LOL. They were taking a chance in this state!!! But wow, what if I hadn't been looking out the den window, had gone the front door or stepped into the kitchen for ice & a Coke from the fridge or something? I'd have come back to the window probably just in time to see them getting back in that car - with my Tibbe! That's when I learned you have to stay out there with your dog or right on the poor or just behind the open door and to call the dog & head out to him if anybody approaches the yard! A few months later, I joined YT & found out about the need to be vigilant for predators & such!
And then I read about Yazmin being snatched from a busy street but saved, that story of Pitbulls & other dogs being targeted this Halloween and other close calls and it really makes you paranoid - thank goodness. Forewarned, forearmed!
