My neighbors who he calls Mi Mi and PaPa recently got a Yorkie puppy and he is scared of her. We have finally gotten him to sit on the floor while I hold her in my lap and he will finally pet her once or twice and say "baby". Then he's done. His OT wonders if it's the texture of the puppy's hair... But he is careful and I like that he thinks of her as a baby and will touch her like she is glass. I hope in some small way this will help him also.

I think it's great to raise kids with animals. Isaiah is amazing with Georgie and I agree about treating her like glass!
