Question for all the Snoozer owners, how do I clean the cover? Can I take it off and throw it in the washer?

I spilled a half of bottle of Diet Coke in Princess Sophie Kates Snoozer and she is NOT happy. I thought I got most of it up with a towel (it looks clean) but SK keeps trying to jump out of it now, while the car is moving.
