Do you have an animal control department? You should call them, the police, the humane society, and local vets and let them know you found this dog. You can also place a lost and found ad in your local newspaper. Don't say it is a yorkie. Say it is a small dog and make callers describe it.
I think one of two things happened.
1. A child was walking the dog and lost control or
2. It was left in your yard on purpose.
If no one claims it are you willing to keep it? If not a yorkie rescue would be the right call. I don't know of any in your area but I'm sure someone on here will. |
