I am hoping to get some help from experienced Yorkie owners on this forum. I have a 2yr old female Yorkie, she has been the only dog in the house and me and her were inseparable. I have been considering getting another small dog to keep her company and have a partner to play with. So yesterday I brought home a 10 week old Male Yorkie-Bichon mix and my sweet girl is not happy. She stays away from him and is not eating her usual amount of food.
He wants to meet her and play with her, but she just runs away and wants nothing to do with him. Please let me know if you have had this problem and did resolve itself? Did I make a mistake? Any comments or suggestions will be truly appreciated.
