having access to talking on cells and texting all the time has gone way over the top. I have a few friends that can't even take a walk with me without spending most of the time walking and texting, or sitting at the table and texting, and now you can't ask anyone anything on the street or in a store because they are wearing blue tooth sets and just talking into the air. As you can probably tell from my posts I am chatty, so it drives me crazy that people are not available to talk anymore. I used to talk to people on lines at the post office, grocery store, the motor vechicle department in doctors waiting roooms, well no more everyone is on some type of hand held device. This is funny, when I was younger I used to travel via air a lot for work, I used to love airports, and I was a big flirt, I always struck up a conversation with some guy or even women, I would have drinks in between flights etc, I even got a few dates as a result of striking up a conversation. When waiting most people used to look forward to talking with one another because the only other alternative was a book, the pay phone or paperwork. I travel now just once and a while, and dang it's boring, no one talks to anyone anymore, they are either on their cell, their laptop or texting. Frankly I can't figure out how they meet all these people to electronically communicate with since no one talks to each in person any more. I guess I am old, but there are some things I miss from the gold ole days, like LOL getting a free drink from a cute guy in an airport bar
