contact Heidi at Yorkie 911 they are based on LI but place pups in the Tri State area.
you can check them out directly on their web site, they are a fairly large rescue group that are dedicated to yorkies and small breeds and often have a lot of dogs. Good luck
LOL just realized my avatar is from one of their big fund raisers called Resuces on the Runway, if you want a rescue pup they should be number one on your list to contact.
