I always go for a second opinion if I have any questeon in my mind that what we are looking at could possibly be something else....It doesnt mean you dont trust or believe your vet....it means you could never forgive yourself if you did something that had a negative outcome, and you did not look at from a different perspective or angle. I would go to a vet school for my second opinion......especially since YOUR vet said it was normal, and this "fill in" said it needed to come out and be tested.....
