It's been a couple of days since my last update. I apologize for that, but I'm sure you'll all forgive me when you hear why. Turns out, with my Bimmer back to almost 100%, I haven't had any time to do anything but play with him. 
He's still not eating his usual payload, but he's averaging one REALLY big meal a day and several smaller snack sessions throughout the day. Last night his sugar went low again and he got wobbly. No big deal, I'm an old pro at that one now.  He was back to normal a few minutes later.
As each day passes, he sleeps less than the day before. Today he's been awake half the day just watching tv with me. He's still on the mend and heavily drugged with the antibiotics, but he's ALMOST back to his old self. If he'd sleep an hour or two less and eat two or three meals more, I'd say we're fully healed. We'll get there but, rest assured, the little man is doing VERY well for himself.
