Our family lives in the NY tri state area (n. nj).

We are looking for a family pet and would like to adopt a yorkie or yorkie mix.

Both hubby and I grew up with dogs and now we want the same for our children.

WE've already identified a vet, trainer and pet insurance.

My kids are 14, 8 and 5. When I contact pet finder or shelters the yorkies (or yorkie mixes) are all gone or I don't get a call back.

Any suggestions or tips would be GREATLY appreciated!
