I know it did not occured to me before they came to adopt from me, and told me the story, they said it was horrible they trust this person with their kids and one day, she just took off with the dog..

, their children were distroyed, inmagine if they had no proof the dog was theirs, even the Vet was doubtful because they send her to take the dogs to the vet ,so the poor vet and staff, was confused, then they remember that the dog was registered to them, and the judge made her give the dog back. thanks to the registration papers. so lesson learned, you must have proof that that dog is YOURS...
oh, and I did a little research if you don't register the dog is still register to the breeder.. and that includes the AKC..
