Fessing up to being a total dork...ask anyone that knows me well.
I sing all the time to anyone captive in the car or no one at all when they can run for cover. I can sing girl scout camp songs, old Mitch Miller songs and a pile of goofy songs my grandma taught me for about 5 hrs without repeating any...ask my kids, I sang all the way home from Williamsburg once.
Each of my kids has their 'own' song...Bret's is 'You are my Sunshine' (nods to Gymbo and Sherry Lynn) Chelsea's is 'My Girl' and Tyler's is 'Baby Face'. As teenagers they are mostly appalled when I sing to them and will literally beg me not to do it front of their friends....ha ha, now that's leverage!
The dogs are my best audience...they especially like Billie Holiday.
