I've seen people bathe their Yorkies in the sink, But Ruger is so big I bathe him in the tub. I just use one of those detachable shower heads on a hose and bring it down to his level. It took a little while, but he now seems to enjoy it and sometimes he will jump in the shower with me.
I use some stuff called Fluffy Puppy that is easy to apply and rises out clean. Somebody gave me some expensive Italian shampoo that was very thick and didn't work too well with his long hair.
And, as others have already said, have a thick towel ready and keep him warm. |
