Dyan, I am sorry you have to deal with issue now. I Googled and found that some people had good results with homeopathic aids containing Arnica, a plant in the sunflower family. Looks like it can be applied topically and taken in pill form. That might be something to look into.
I pray your hematoma shrinks and doesn't cause you any problems.
