I'm so sorry to read that this happened and even if she weren't microchipped, you still may be surprised one day with a phone call if she were wearing an I. D. tag or vax tag or collar with phone # on it. Some dogs that don't go far & are taken in will eventually find their way out and return home on their own. Anything is possible with these little ones.
