I am so mad at myself. I bought my friend at 6 carat mystic topaz loose gemstone off ebay(I have a lady that I like to use to set gemstones in rings) and I just got it in on Friday. Its sort of a late christmas present because it took a month to come in the mail. Well I left it in a plastic bag on the coffee table and now its gone. Im 90% sure Penny(my boxer) ate it which I should have known better than to leave that on the coffee table beause Penny would think its candy. What makes matters worse is I liked this stone so much that when I got it in I called my friend and already made jokes about losing the stone(I was joking, making it sound like I lost it so I could really keep it). So now that I really cant find it and I think Penny ate this makes me look so bad.
Shes coming over tommorrow to work with me and I dont know how to tell her, she was so excited.
