My GSP, Buddy, is almost 8 now and even though he has always been great with other dogs he was a little standoffish when we brought Blazer home for good in July. I'm not sure if Buddy was afraid of hurting Blazer or what but when Blazer would get close to him Buddy would bark and move away. It took about a week or so for him to relax enough and now those two are the best of friends and they play/rough house all of the time! There are times when Buddy gets annoyed with Blazer and lets him (or us) know that he needs his space so we make sure that Blazer stays away from him. So overall, I'd say it's all good!
