a straight pin is always best. i use a fine/med greyhound comb as well. i have a brush that my mother had back in the 1970's. she wore her hair really long and straight back then. she gave me a brush. it has no name. no number. i've never seen anything like it. it's boar bristle, 100%, but not fine and flimsy. it's seen better days, but is still holding up to this day. if i could find that brush now to buy, i'd be one happy lady. funny thing is, that my mother used it on me, her and now it's being used on my furkids sometimes. i soak it in oil and witch hazel about every other month. is holding up great.
