My husband and I love that area so much we have gone back every fall for the past 5 years. This year we are going to check out Blowing Rock NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are planning a trip the second week in November. I would love to move near the mountains and I am hoping we can make it happen someday before we get to old to enjoy the hiking.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Tink loves to go with us everywhere. When we are hiking she usually ends up walking ahead a little with my dh, but she always turns around to make sure I am coming and makes him wait if she thinks I am too far behind...LOL...
