What is your pup's coat like otherwise. Is it possible that his hair is brittle and what you are finding is due to breakage rather than shedding? My Moka has silky hair, but it is super brittle and it breaks off before it gets long and I also find quite a bit of hair where she sleeps. She fights some dry itchy skin too. A good diet with omega oils helps us but I think it's just in Moka's DNA.
