Just make sure the room you bathe in is warm, and have warm towels ready. Use a tearless shampoo formulated for dogs. There are many great brands to choose from. I prefer things found online, or if you are lucky enough to have a great dog boutique nearby.
One of my favorites is Bio-Groom. If you email them through their website and request samples of their tearless Fluffy Puppy shampoo, they will send it to you quickly.
