My baby was 6months when spayed. You will want to find a vet that you trust,do a bit of homework on protocol of presurgery bloodtests and anestesia that is usually used on small dogs. I live in FtWorth so Im not going to be much help with a recommendation. If you have some friends with dogs you might ask them who they use and go talk to that vet before you turn your baby over to them to do surgery.
