I don't know why people like that even bother to get a pet if it is merely a possession that can be dumped or given away when it is sick or becomes inconvenient! Why don't they just get a stuffed animal or a new vase or something - why a living, loving, breathing animal that loves and depends on them, wants to be with them more than anything? And how is that baby rewarded for its companionship and affection, all its little kisses & cuteness, sticking by their side through thick and thin? One day it's stuck into a box and setting on a porch or on the side of the road somewhere as daddy or mommie has driven away for good! For good! I wonder what kind of conscience people like that have and how it lets them sleep? (I hope they don't!)
