I buy my little Gracie 12" regular sized bully sticks. When she gets the sick down to 3 or 4 inches I throw them away. They are good at cleaning the teeth since they can soften the stick enough to get their teeth into it but she can't actually bite a piece off of it. You do have to be careful where you buy them though. There are some discount companies that are selling very soft bully sticks and they can be a problem.

I have had the best results from the sticks from Best Bully Sticks. They are hard enough that she can only soften the end and they are from grass fed beef that have no hormones, steroids or antibiotics injected. If a company cannot guarantee their beef that way then I'd stay away. They also are not fatty. Just protein.
