There are many foods made in the United States, but use ingredients from China. I would be very surprised if Nutro didn't use ingredients from China. I am not a Nutro fan and would never feed it. It is hard to find foods that don't use ingredients from China these days. Companies are usually very evasive about where their ingredients come from. The arsenic in rice is becoming a concern. I feed grain free foods currently and I am not sure I would want to feed a food with rice in it. I believe, but don't know for certain, that they would allow pet food to use rice that has higher levels of arsenic than allowed in people food. So many ingredients that don't pass inspection and testing for human food ends up in pet food and animal feed. It is scary because these 'animals' are either our pets or end up being food WE eat.
