So those who know of us know my story that My Bella Donna had her 1st litter a year and half ago, Things didnt go so well last time as the birthing began the 1st pup got stuck, we rushed momma to the vet, They removed the pup and placed Bell in cage were she did deliver two more pups on her own, She had three girls, two came home, Anyways after thinking about the mistakes made and talking with my vet I decided to let her have one last litter, this being her 2nd, But I was going to go about this diffent, Last time I read and read got all worked up scared and nurves I just new something bad was going to happen, I really thought about the choices I had made, and the fact was even thou I loved Bella and treated her like a human she in fact is an animal and animals have been birthing on their own for 100s of years, This time I wasnt going to be there in the room as it appeard Bell new I was nervous and just didnt focus on what needed to be done because once she was left alone at the vets she did fine deliving two more pups, This time I was going to let mother nature do its thing, I wanst going to read anything negtive on line, So I got her a whelping box and placed it in my room next to my bed, and the towels and stuff just in case and was ready, Last Sunday I wake up at 1am because my leg is wet I look under the covers and there Bella has a puppy cleaning it, I got up and left the room, Leaving her right in my bed to do her thing, I kept a close eye on her just checking in on her from time to time, And at 4am we had 4 puppies and one tried momma, She had did it, And without help, She had 4 babies 3 girls and a boy, Weve got TinkerBell, being the smallest no bigger then my pinky finger, then we got EzeyBell,AnnaBell, and last the little boy, Bailey, Last time I took them to the vet to do the docking and claws witch I didnt care for to much stiches in my little 2 oz pups, So my husband and I did it our selfs on day four using the clampping meth, no blood at all.Everything is going good and the pups are 8 days old. If I were to give advise on letting your pet have pups it would be get your advise from your vet and dont focuse so much on what can go wrong yes things do go wrong with yorkies but fact is they are animals and have been doing this a long time without help, dont panic stay claim enjoy you pet.
