Kyra should do just fine. Just make sure you have the blood work before she goes under. If you can ask the Vet to use the Sevo Gas when she is under.

My Luci, who I took in as a re-home. I had her spayed in July and her dental done, she weighed 2lbs 9oz.
I was able to stay at the Vet in the Consultation room until the surgery was done and she was waking up. I also took her in on the day my Vet is open until 7pm, so that way she could stay at the Vet longer for monitoring, before I brought her that evening. My Luci did just fine that night at home.
I never once had a problem with her the day's following either. You would have never known she had surgery. Luci is almost 5 yrs old.
