Because she has been sick, I actively encourage Leesi to drink. Aside from water bowls in her playpen, by her crate and now our hallway, I keep a bowl on the coffee table, too, and offer her a drink every time I sit down with her. She never seemed to drink enough to me, so I make a point of "reminding" her. Sometimes just a lick off my fingers is enough to get her to go ahead and drink.
I'm sure she's thinking
"Fine, I'll drink if it will get you off my back - Sheesh!"
After all that I've read, I plan to continue that practice. Yes, she's spoiled but I can live with it.
