Vets cannot 'fix' everything!

Please don't let your puppy or dog become a statistic. It is not worth it to risk their lives for a few hours of enjoyment...
That's exactly what Jilly did - tried to swallow too big a piece, choked, stopped breathing on the way to the vet. If I hadn't breathed for her, she would never have made it! She was chewing one of those small barbell looking ones with small knots on the end, bit through the neck of it and tried to swallow the knot end! Next thing I knew she was going in circles with her head stuck out forward, gasping, struggling to get any breath at all, make this terrible sound and her heart tachying. Got her to the car & driving to vet all with one arm as I held her in the other. Then, she just collapsed, completely limp & quiet. That is panic time. Keep those things away from your dogs!!!
