I've always steered clear of rawhide, even with my big boy, because they are very hard to digest (sometimes they just don't digest at all). This is what I had always heard/read. I only give him pig ears and pig skin twists and such. So, this is what I do with Mandie, too.

I never even thought about a piece getting stuck in the windpipe or lungs. Do you think this is a hazard with pig ears/skin treats, too??
