When you register your dog you can pick any name you like be it fancy or simple. Because I show I do pick the fancier names but they also have meaning to me. Before I brought Abbie to my home to show her, her breeder asked me to figure out a registered name for her. all I had was her name to go from. Then I sat and thought about how she was neglected in her first home and Cindy was able to get her back. I had my work cut out for me getting her to learn that not all humans were idiots. Anyway a friend had posted an Abba song, so I went to you tube and pulled up the song because I like their music. Well the next song was "Take A Chance on Me " the light bulb literally went off above my head. So I called Cindy and said hey what do you think of Maitai's Take A Chance On Me for her registered name. She loved it because not only were we both taking a chance on Abbie but Cindy was also taking a chance on me . So there you have it.

That is a sweet story
