hey everyone!
so recently (about 3 ish weeks) i got another dog! yay! his name is Tucker and he is a 2 ish year old Australian Silky Terrier. he is about 25 pounds verses my 10 pound yorkie, Breezy.
Anyway.. they get along great! which is awesome because when we first got Tucker, Breezy wouldnt even look at him!
HOWEVER, breezy is severely food aggressive. And it only happens when im present. If he is eating out of his bowl and Tucker gets to close, breezy will attack him. and Tucker doesnt even fight back.
or whenever i have food myself, breezy will randomly attack Tucker, i guess because he thinks he is getting to close to me, or he thinks ill give Tucker a treat and he wont get any.
i know i shouldnt give them any treats when im eating however, breezy is 4 years old. he has been getting little bits here and there his whole life. i dont think stopping that will affect him.
I just dont know what to do! I feel so bad that Tucker is being beat up on. Breezy never actually hurts Tucker, never any blood or anything like that but this needs to stop.
any help?? please?!?!
