 You should be fine.
We are also in Florida. Matise has a liver shunt. We have spoke about it before. He recently had his first vacs since diagnosing his shunt. He did Great. He got everything including lepto. He didn't have one side affect. I consulted my Liver Shunt surgeon prior to making the appointment and he said that he did not feel there was any reason why Matise could not receive his vaccinations. My regular vet who gave the vaccinations did advise that we should not plan anything and stay with him for 24 hours after vaccinations just due to regular concerns ie: fever and other reactions, etc. about a dog being vaccinated but nothing in connection to his shunt.
